Paprika-walnuts spread

Paprika bread spread

I also like this one. You can make it quickly with raw paprika; or take some more time and roast the paprika which makes it even better!


  • 75 gr walnuts
  • 1 red paprika
  • 1 slice of (old) bread
  • a little bit of garlic (I put 1/3 of a piece of garlic for each paprika)
  • 1 soup spoon of olive oil
  • peper, salt, paprika powder and cumin (I also added once by mistake fennel seeds, and it tasted quite good)


Here again, make it easy: just add everything in a food processor and mix it.

If you have time (count at least 30 min) you can make the skin of the paprika burn a little bit (oven on grill); once all side of the paprika are roasted, you can remove easily the skin.
