My daughters love spiced bisquit, but the recipes I found were time consuming (overnight in a cool place,…). But I found one which done in 10 min; and it tastes excellent!!!
Ingredients:
- 125 gr sugar (cane sugar or brown sugar)
- 125 gr butter
- 1 egg
- 250 gr flour
- 1 tea spoon cinnamon
- 1 tea spoon “speculaas spice mix”
- 0,5 soup spoon baking powder
Preparation (10 min + 20 min in the oven)
Mix all ingredients together (melted butter).
Either you can make some small dough balls (about 25 gr) and press them so that they become a 1 cm thick circle (with a glass or with a food stamp); or if you want to be faster, you can smear the dough on the baking plate (on reusable baking paper or course); but then don’t forget to cut it in pieces before it gets cold.
Bake them for about 20 min (depending of the thickness of your cookies) at 170°C.
(This recipe comes from the book “Lekker Ecologisch” from VELT.)
